Private homeowners, landlords & property developers

We work with homeowners, landlords and developers who want practical, honest advice about their property's energy performance. That might mean improving an EPC rating ahead of a sale or let, improving comfort in the home, reducing running costs, moving away from fossil fuels, or meeting government regulations for rental properties. Every property is different. We’ll take the time to understand your building, your budget and what you're trying to achieve – then recommend the most effective path forward.

Stay Compliant

Are you a landlord?

The regulatory landscape is shifting. The government has confirmed that private rental properties in England will need to meet an EPC C rating by 2030. A new EPC methodology, the Home Energy Model, is due to replace the current system from 2029.

We help you get ahead of these changes. We can assess your current or prospective properties, tell you where they stand, and propose the most cost-effective improvements to meet both current and upcoming requirements. No unnecessary work, no guesswork, just a clear plan tailored to your portfolio.

Energy Performance Consultation for Landlords & Developers
£0.00

Thinking about purchasing a rental property? Worried about upcoming MEES requirements? We can tell you the expected EPC rating of an existing property — or a potential purchase — without lodging the certificate on the register.

We then propose the most cost-effective route to improving the score, whether you're aiming for the current minimum E or preparing for the 2030 shift to C. For developers, we advise on energy strategy from design stage through to completion.

Do you live in a historic building?

Norfolk and Suffolk are full of beautiful older properties, from Victorial and Edwardian townhouses in Norwich to early thatched cottages across the Broads. We specialise in these buildings, where standard energy advice often falls short.

Listed buildings and conservation-area properties come with restrictions on what you can change. Older construction methods – solid walls, lime mortar, single-glazed windows – need a different approach to insulation and ventilation. Get it wrong and you risk damp, structural damage or losing the character that makes the building worth preserving.

We understand building physics, heritage restrictions and the practical trade-offs involved. We'll find the improvements that make a real difference to comfort and efficiency without compromising the fabric or health of your home.
